Flyers Game 82: Lines, Notes, & How to Watch vs. Canadiens
The Philadelphia Flyers (42-27-12) wrap up the regular season on Tuesday when they host the Montreal Canadiens (48-23-10) at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
As they’ve been for quite some time now, the Flyers are 7-3-0 over the last 10 games, and 4-1-0 over the recent 5 games.
The Canadiens are 8-2-0 over their last 10 games, but 3-2-0 over the last 5. They were on a 5-game winning streak at one point.
For the first time in a long time, this is not the end of the Flyers’ season. They clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 2020. This is the last game for Philly before the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs begin.
Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. EST at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Here is how the Flyers are expected to line up.

Game Notes
With no morning skate, nothing to play for, and a flurry of Tuesday morning call-ups, it’s hard to predict the lineup. The Flyers had three forwards in the press box and called up two more on Tuesday. That should mean five new forwards draw into the lineup, as well as four extra defensemen. I would expect nine new skaters, plus a goalie, to dress on Tuesday.
That said, I have no clue what the lines will be. So, I tried to get into Rick Tocchet’s mind here. Keep the two lines that don’t get scratched the same, and do the same for the lone untouched defensive pair. My only question is, do they want Porter Martone to play, move Anthony Richard to center, and take Trevor Zegras out? Who knows.
Montreal is playing for home ice in round one. The Flyers aren’t playing for much, or anything at all, now that they are clinched. It doesn’t mean much. That just becomes something to watch for.
There will be an exciting NHL debut on Tuesday, however. Both Oliver Bonk and Hunter McDonald will make their NHL debuts against the Canadiens. The pair of defensemen were among the flurry of NHL call-ups made by the Flyers on Tuesday.
