This is an interesting spot to look at after a disastrous opening night for the Flyers . Philadelphia was completely outplayed at home, getting blown out 7-0 by the Penguins while managing just 19 shots on goal. It was an especially disappointing result considering the Flyers entered the game as -148 favorites.

That loss puts Philadelphia at 0-1-0 and already creates some concern about its start in the Metropolitan Division. Nothing really went right against Pittsburgh , and the lack of offensive pressure was particularly troubling after the Flyers failed to generate much of anything throughout the game.
New Jersey , meanwhile, is opening its season here, so there is naturally more uncertainty surrounding the Devils. We don't have a regular-season result to evaluate yet, which makes the market especially important in this matchup.
Following a disastrous opening-night 7-0 loss to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia faces an uphill battle to ignite its offense against the New Jersey Devils . The Flyers generated a total of just 19 shots on goal in their season opener, completely struggling to control the puck or set up sustained offensive zone time.
In that sluggish performance, defenseman Jamie Drysdale failed to record a single shot on goal. As a pass-first blueliner, Drysdale typically operates as a distributor from the point rather than a volume shooter, making a sudden surge in shot volume unlikely as Philadelphia continues to search for its offensive identity.

Our Action Network PRO System projects Drysdale for just 1.19 shots on goal tonight, creating a solid 13.2% edge (B+ Grade) on DraftKings at -115. Given the Flyers' offensive struggles, trust the projection model and take Jamie Drysdale Under 1.5 Shots on Goal.
Best Bet: Jamie Drysdale Under 1.5 SOG
