According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo , former Alabama Crimson Tide inside linebacker Henry To'oTo'o has reportedly agreed to a two-year, $16 million extension with the Houston Texans.
This reported agreement would officially keep To'oTo'o in Houston through the 2028 season.
To'oTo'o was selected by Houston in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL draft out of Alabama , and has emerged as one of the Texans' top linebackers since. Dating back to the 2023 season, To'oTo'o has started 35-of-46 games played with Houston where he has 261 career tackles, along with 18 TFL, four sacks, and one interception.
Last season, To'oTo'o started 14-of-17 games played with Houston where he posted 95 tackles, nine TFL, 2.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery.
To'oTo'o transferred to Alabama from Tennessee prior to the 2021 season, and went on to start both years while in Tuscaloosa. At Alabama, To'oTo'o was one of the SEC's most productive linebackers posting a combined 206 total tackles, 16.5 TFL, and 6.5 sacks from 2021-22.
