It didn't take long for former Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Evan Brown to land with a new team. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport , Brown is joining the Houston Texans on a one-year contract worth up to $3.5 million.
Brown was released last week before he was due a $500,000 roster bonus. He would have made almost $4.2 million in salary for the Cardinals in 2026 had he not been released.

Brown, enters his ninth NFL season. He has played for the New York Giants , Miami Dolphins , Cleveland Browns , Detroit Lions , Seattle Seahawks and Cardinals, entering the league as an undrafted rookie in 2018. He has been a starter at all three interior line positions since 2021.
He played every snap of every game in 2024 for the Cardinals and re-signed last year on a two-year deal. He started 11 games at left guard last season and missed the final six games, out for personal reasons when his newborn son needed open-heart surgery.
The Cardinals signed Isaac Seumalo to a three-year deal, and he will be the Cardinals' new starting left guard.
