Former Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmons certainly enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs lose this past weekend.
The Chiefs had a golden opportunity to separate from the Broncos in the AFC West standings this past Sunday, but Patrick Mahomes and the offense couldn't put away Sean Payton's squad. After blowing an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter, the Chiefs had a chance to win the game in the closing seconds of regulation. Mahomes thought he delivered a game-winning touchdown pass, but it was negated by a false start from Jaylon Moore.
On the very next play, the Broncos came up with the stop to take over first place in the AFC West.

Chiefs fans thought the refs made an awful call on Moore in the final seconds of the game. Simmons, however, thought it was poetic justice.
In fact, Simmons accused the Chiefs of cheating throughout the
"I got beef with Chiefs fans," Simmons said. "I see everyone on social media saying, 'That wasn't a false start. They hate us.' … Y'all been cheating the whole time y'all had Patrick Mahomes! Refs been cheating for y'all. It was a false start. Y'all lost, and y'all lost at the 1-yard line."
Travis Kelce isn't making excuses for the Chiefs.
During Wednesday's episode of "New Heights," Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce admit that Moore's false start penalty was justified.
"At the end of the day, we still had another play," Kelce said. "I'll take my guy Pat Mahomes on the six-yard line with the game on the line; I'll take that any day of the week. So we gotta execute at the end even more. We can't let the penalty absolutely deflate us and not let us execute at the end of the game."
Chiefs coach Andy Reid, on the other hand, claims he didn't see Moore commit a penalty.
"I didn't see it," Reid told reporters. "That's one man's opinion. I saw him move his head, but I didn't see a false start."
The Chiefs are heading into Week 9 on a two-game losing streak. We'd have to imagine they'll come out firing on all cylinders against the Jets.
