Former Clemson linebacker enters transfer portal for second time

Former Clemson redshirt TJ Dottery has entered himself into the transfer portal for a second time.

Dottery was dismissed from the Tigers program for an undisclosed violation of team rules in summer 2023, now he enters the transfer portal for the second time leaving Ole Miss to pursue a venture elsewhere per On3.

Once mired in controversy at Clemson , he rebuilt his reputation at Ole Miss. Over two seasons, the former Tiger racked up 174 tackles, 10 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles, emerging as a cornerstone of a Rebels defense that pushed its way to the College Football Playoff semifinals before falling 31–27

In this game Dottery tied his personal best in sacks (1) and beat his personal best in tackles (11)

In his one year as a Tiger he appeared in four games while redshirting, playing 16 defensive snaps and recording two tackles and made his Clemson debut on special teams vs. Furman, he made one tackle vs. No. 24 North Carolina and one in the Orange Bowl vs. No. 6 Tennessee .
