Former Duke football defensive tackle Aaron Hall has secured a spot in the NFL after making the Carolina Panthers ' initial 53-man roster.
Hall, 22, signed with the Panthers after going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft. He spent five years in Durham, accumulating 121 combined tackles, including 22.5 for a loss, 8.0 sacks, four passes defensed and a forced fumble in 53 games played.

Last season, Hall was a crucial part of the Blue Devils ' interior line, with 44 combined tackles, 11 for a loss and 2.5 sacks in 14 games. He earned third-team All-ACC as the team secured the ACC Championship, the program's first outright since 1962.
Hall made the most of his opportunity in his preseason with the Panthers, recording five combined tackles, half a sack and four pressures in four games.
Eight undrafted players from Duke signed with NFL teams this offseason, but only Hall made an initial 53-man roster.
Andrel Anthony (Falcons) was waived before the start of the preseason. Vincent Anthony (Chiefs), Sahmir Hagans (Colts), Anderson Castle (Colts), Bruno Fina (Bills) and Josiah Green (Buccaneers) were waived ahead of the deadline. Justin Pickett (Raiders) was waived earlier in the month with an injury designation and placed on IR after clearing waivers.

Hall joins a recent rash of former Blue Devils — Kon Knueppel, Sion James and Grayson Allen — currently playing just a short while away from their alma mater.
