A former Georgia Bulldogs running back is trying to get another shot in the NFL. Former Georgia RB Kenny McIntosh is working out the Las Vegas Raiders , according to Adam Schefter . The Raiders also worked out Dare Ogunbowale and James Robinson.
McIntosh was drafted in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks , and early on he looked like a major surprise. While he didn't get any carries in 2023, in 2024, he earned 172 yards and no touchdowns on 31 carries.
Unfortunately, McIntosh suffered a torn ACL in training camp in 2025. He had to sit out the entire season, although he did win a Super Bowl with the Seahawks . He was waived on July 26, 2026 . Since being waived, McIntosh tried out for the Indianapolis Colts , but the Colts did not sign him .
If McIntosh were to sign with the Raiders, he would be replacing former Georgia running back Zamir White . The Raiders let White go into free agency after he rushed for 32 yards on just 12 carries. White was the starting running back in 2023, but his role diminished when the Raiders selected Ashton Jeanty sixth overall.
When McIntosh was in a Georgia uniform, he looked like one of the many Georgia running backs who could carve out an NFL career. Through four seasons at UGA, he rushed for 1,582 yards and 16 touchdowns on 280 carries while also earning 861 yards and four touchdowns on 76 receptions. He helped the Georgia Bulldogs win the 2021 and 2022 national championships.
2022 was his magnum opus . He had 829 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground and 505 yards and two touchdowns through the air. In 2021, he had a viral moment where he threw a touchdown pass to Adonai Mitchell in a trick play in the first quarter of the 2021 Orange Bowl against the Michigan Wolverines . The Bulldogs earned a 14-0 lead, and they would go on to win 34-11 and win the 2021 national championship.
