On July 1, former New York Islanders captain Anders Lee signed a three-year deal with the Utah Mammoth worth $5.3 million annually.
On Wednesday, Stefen Rosner joined the Utah Hockey Podcast to discuss the leadership and skills Lee is bringing to his new team:
Lee had played the entirety of his career with the Islanders and had interest in returning but general manager Mathieu Darche wasn't willing to give his captain the term he was looking for.
The veteran forward joined Utah along with Vincent Trocheck as they both try to get this up-and-coming team to the next level over the course of their respective contracts.
