The New York Knicks made a roster adjustment a few weeks ago, signing former Los Angeles Lakers forward Dalton Knecht to a two-way contract.
Knecht made his Knicks debut last night, scoring 10 points on 4-for-6 shooting with seven rebounds. However, he posted a plus-minus of -9 when on the floor.
It's still too early to say if Knecht will become a regular in New York's rotation, and he's likely to spend a good amount of time in the G League with the Westchester Knicks.
A roster spot opened up for Knecht after the Knicks waived Kevin McCullar Jr., who signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, per Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca .
McCullar spent his first two professional seasons with the Knicks, averaging 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7.4 minutes per game. He was the 56th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft out of Kansas.

In 14 games during the 2025-26 season with Westchester, the 6-foot-6 guard averaged 16.8 points, 6.2 assists, and 5.4 rebounds in 31.4 minutes.
According to Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors , McCullar can appear in up to 45 regular-season games with the Raptors.
The 25-year-old's contract must be upgraded to a standard deal if Toronto wants to have him on the playoff roster.
