Former Oregon State DB Conrad Hussey signs with Miami
Former Oregon State defensive back Conrad Hussey signed with Miami out of the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. He spent one year with the Beavers after coming over from Florida State .
Hussey played just three games this season, finishing with five tackles. Over the course of three years (27 games), Hussey has 45 total tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, one interception, three pass deflections, one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles.
As a member of the Class of 2023, Hussey was a four-star recruit out of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking . He was the No. 44 overall prospect in the state, the No. 15 safety in the class and the No. 217 overall prospect in the class.

Hussey could be a replacement, at least within the defensive backs group, for Jadais Richard. He transferred to Tennessee.
Richard made five appearances for the Hurricanes this past season. He recorded five tackles and half a sack. In his three seasons with the Hurricanes, Richard amassed 46 tackles, three pass breakups and an interception.
He totaled 28 appearances for Miami, including eight starts. Before transferring to Miami, Richard began his collegiate career at Vanderbilt .
In his lone campaign with the Commodores, Richard made 11 appearances and a start. He notched six tackles and a sack.
Jadais Richard played high school football at West Monroe (LA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 341 overall player and No. 36 cornerback in the 2022 recruiting cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
