Congratulations are in order for former Seattle Mariners star Kyle Seager, who could be on the verge of becoming the 100th member of the "Hall of Pretty Good."

In case you haven't been following, the "Hall of Pretty Good" is a phenomenon that has grown in the last few years. Really good players are voted on by fans through the @Hallofgoodpod on social media, and often times, players will acknowledge their selections into the group.
Does it ultimately matter? I guess technically not, but it's still a fun way to remember players that we grew up watching. And Seager was certainly pretty good. Fans can vote for his induction on Wednesday (Oct. 28) at 12:30 p.m. PT/3:30 p.m. ET.
Other members in the "Hall of Pretty Good" include: Jason Kipnis, Carlos Pena, Jackie Bradley Jr., Eric Hosmer, James Shields, Ervin Santana, Shane Victorino and Hideki Matsui. Several former Mariners appear in the fictional Hall of Fame, including Steve Cishek, Austin Jackson, Rickie Weeks, Jay Bruce, Dee Strange-Gordon, and Denard Span.
What are the requirements for the "Hall of Pretty Good?"
As noted by the sites official Instagram page, a player must have 38.6 bWAR or less for his career, no MVP awards, no Cy Young's, cannot be a member of the Hall of Fame and must be retired/inactive for at least three seasons.

The Kyle Seager file
Now 38 years old, Seager was a third-round pick of the Mariners in 2009 MLB Draft out of North Carolina . He spent 11 years in the big leagues, all with the Mariners (2011-21), making the All-Star Game in 2014. A one-time Gold Glover, he hit .251 for his career with 242 homers and 807 RBIs.
He had nine seasons of 20 homers or more and also had two seasons of 30 or more, including 35 in his final season (2021).
He stopped playing after his age 33 season and could have easily found a home if he had wanted to keep playing, but evidently, he was satisfied with his career.
Unfortunately for him, he missed the M's "drought-breaking" 2022 season by just one year, so he never played in the playoffs.

Unfortunately, Seager has a strained relationship with the franchise and did not appear at the team's Top 50 Greatest Mariners celebration this summer, though he was picked as part of the team.
