It was straightforward for the Vikings to look for a different voice after the offensive line largely failed to take steps forward. Kuper is well-respected though, and with former Minnesota quarterback Sean Mannion leading the offensive charge in Philly , there was already common ground.
A fifth round pick by the Denver Broncos , Kuper spent eight years in the NFL all with the same franchise. He played in 90 games, then quickly got into coaching. Having worked with the Miami Dolphins , Broncos, and Minnesota Vikings, the Eagles will be his fourth stop.
The Eagles should have much better quarterback play than the Vikings ever saw this season. Saquon Barkley is also a superstar out of the backfield. It will be on Kuper to help Mannion get the most from the boys in the trenches while trying to maximize offense.
Minnesota won't see the Eagles this season unless the teams meet up in the playoffs.
