TheNBA draftwill be held June 23-24 at Barclays Center inBrooklyn, New York, consisting of two rounds and 60 picks. The first round is scheduled for June 23 (ABC/ESPN) and the second round will be held June 24 (ESPN).
Ament is projected as the No. 10 overall pick in the first round toMilwaukee.
"Teams and agents around the league view the likelihood of aGiannis Antetokounmpotrade as the offseason's first domino, with the leaguewide transaction wheel in a holding pattern until the Bucks make a deal,"Woo said. "Milwaukee appears headed toward a retool and continues to signal around the league that it plans to wind up with multiple first-round selections on draft night.
"Ament's draft range has remained on the wider side. The Nets at No. 6 are seen as the realistic high end, but scenarios are also in play in which he falls into the second half of the lottery. Teams say he has been selective about scheduling workouts, declining to visit multiple teams in the top 10. From a best-available perspective, Ament should be in play for the Bucks."
Gillespie is projected as the No. 41 overall pick in the second round toMiami. Okpara is also projected as the No. 42 overall selection toSan Antonio.
