In a recent report , journalist Pete O'Rourke offered an update on the future of Tottenham Hotspur forward Dominic Solanke. It is understood that Spurs are not actively planning to sell the English talent next year.
Solanke has made an inconsistent start to this Premier League campaign, but has managed to put in a run of impressive displays for Spurs in the final third. The 29-year-old has banged in two goals and earned one assist in ten matches for Tottenham this season across all competitions.
The English sensation is currently one of the most talented strikers in the Premier League when he is playing with confidence on the field. Hence, it is no surprise that Spurs are unwilling to let him go next year.
His current contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030, so the North London club are under no immediate pressure to cash in on him.

Solanke can engineer a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He can create the odd chance for his teammates in the final third and is quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent's penalty area. Solanke can even use his strong 1.86m frame to win a few 50-50 aerial duels for his team and is a decent goal-getter on the offensive end of the field.
However, the English talent can be inconsistent with his contributions in front of the opposition goal. Still, he is quite familiar with the Premier League and could play a crucial role for Spurs this season.
At the moment, Solanke remains one of the most important members of Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi's squad. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
At 29, Solanke is still playing in his prime and could help Spurs compete across all fronts in the coming years. He is currently under a long-term contract, so De Zerbi would be wise to keep hold of him for now and make a decision on his future at the end of this campaign.
