Ranger Suarez takes the bump for the Red Sox today in the series finale against the Houston Astros . His first start of the season — a four-run, 4.1 inning performance — came against the Astros, but he’s been much sharper of late. Two of his last three starts were eight-inning shutouts.

The Red Sox are looking to take the series after dropping two of three to the Blue Jays. It feels like an important one with Tarik Skubal and Framber Valdez looming on Monday and Tuesday, but at 13-20, every game is important.
