WAIT, WHAT? THE GAME'S NOT ON TV? Not in the traditional sense, no .

IS IT ON TV OR NOT?If I wasn't going to be at the game as a season ticket holder, I would watching it on my TV, I can say that for certain.

STOP DANCING AROUND IT, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?Hang on, we have to do the actual heading for this part, you're interrupting me.

SORRY, GO AHEAD. Thank you.

THE STREAMING: ESPN+ , with Josh Mauer and Jerel McNeal on the call.

ESPN+? I THOUGHT THE BIG EAST'S PRIMARY TV PARTNER WAS FOX SPORTS?This is Year Two of the current media deal, and while you're right, the Big East has partnered with ESPN for their digital offerings, which is usually the soccer/volleyball/lacrosse/baseball/softball broadcasts. As you could expect, ESPN wanted a liiiitle bit of the men's basketball as well, and so here we are.

HOW IMPORTANT IS AN ESPN+ SUBSCRIPTION FOR MARQUETTE WATCHING THIS SEASON? Depends on how much you want to watch Mercyhurst, Northern Illinois, Chicago State, Wagner, and New Hampshire, all of which are home games at Fiserv Forum. Unless you're a Marquette student, the only way you're going to see the Detroit Mercy game at the McGuire Center is if you have an ESPN+ subscription.

I AM A COMPLETIST AND MUST WATCH EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY GAME. Then you'd better get your credit card out, brother.

THE RADIO: 94.5 FM/ESPN Milwaukee, available online via The Varsity Network .

THE LIVE STATS: Stat Broadcast

THE LINE:Marquette -31.5 according to our friends at FanDuel .

THE PROJECTION: KenPom.com gives Marquette a 99% chance of victory in this game, with a predicted score of 87-61.

THE EXCITEMENT LEVEL: KenPom.com gives this game a Thrill Score of 10.0, making it the 91st most potentially exciting Division 1 game out of the 118 contests scheduled for the day. #1? Purdue vs Gonzaga in Las Vegas with a Score of 83.9.

THE RECOMMENDATION:As usual for home games, I'll be in attendance, so I'll be posting in the comments here live from Fiserv Forum….. EXCLUSIVELY from the SB Nation app on my phone. I've been using it to post comments in the soccer and volleyball previews/Game Threads this fall, and I've really been enjoying how smoothly it works. The point of the story is that now's a great time for you to 1) make sure you have an account to post in the Game Thread comments before the men's basketball games games count for real and 2) download the app to joining the game discussion even easier! It's available in the United States wherever fine phone apps are available.
