Georgia basketball is playing two preseason games in Stegeman Coliseum and going on the road to a bordering state for another to face an opponent it went up against in the regular season last year.
Georgia State will visit Athens on Wednesday, Oct. 7, and the Bulldogs will also host Charlotte on Friday, Oct. 16. Georgia will then face Clemson on Friday, Oct. 23, in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Georgia won a preseason game at Georgia State last year when former Bulldog player Jonas Hayes was the Panthers' coach.
Hayes is now a Georgia assistant under Mike White.
Clemson beat Georgia 97-94 in overtime in a tournament in Charleston last November.
Tickets to Georgia's home preseason games will be included in season ticket packages with the Bulldogs' 18 regular-season home games.
Georgia opens the season on Monday, Nov. 2, against N.C. Central in Stegeman.
