Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Monroe Freeling entered the 2026 NFL combine with high expectations. Some draft experts believed Freeling's combine performance could move him into the conversation to be a top-10 pick .
Freeling's measurements and athleticism surpassed the hype at the combine. He became the first player in NFL combine history to be stand at least 6 feet, 7 inches, weigh at least 315 pounds and post a sub-5.00 40-yard dash, a vertical jump of more than 30 inches and a broad jump greater than nine feet.

Freeling's combine performance puts him squarely in the conversation to be a first-round pick. He has limited starting experience from his time at Georgia , but he could continue to improve as he takes his game to the next level.

During the 40-yard dash, Freeling was one of five offensive linemen to reach a speed of 20.3 miles per hour . He was among the top performing offensive linemen in the 40-yard dash (and the 10-yard split), the vertical jump and the broad jump.
Freeling posted a 4.93 second 40-yard dash time (tied for fourth best among OL), including a 1.71 10-yard split (second best among OL). The big tackle finished in the top five at his position with a vertical jump of 33 1/2 inches and a broad jump of 9 feet. 7 inches.
