Barcelona's attacking firepower will face a stern test when Getafe visit Spotify Camp Nou , with defender Zaid Romero insisting his side must combine discipline with belief if they are to trouble Hansi Flick's team.
Speaking to MARCA , the Argentine centre-back discussed Getafe's approach against Barcelona's fluid forward line, the challenge of containing Lamine Yamal and why Lionel Messi remains his clear choice for the Ballon d'Or.
Getafe know the quality Barcelona possess in the final third, but Romero believes his team can draw confidence from previous results against leading Spanish sides.
Rather than approaching the contest with fear, the defender wants his teammates to follow the manager's instructions and compete with conviction.
"Football is a game for men and knights; we must show character, do what the manager asks of us, and go out to play, whilst always respecting all our opponents and with a winning mentality.
"Last season we put in some great performances against top-flight sides.
"We beat Villarreal, Real Madrid, Real Betis and Athletic; we showed character and came out on top. Nothing is impossible for those who believe,"he said.

Romero also acknowledged that defending against Barcelona requires flexibility.
While a traditional centre-forward presents a different problem, the movement of Raphinha, Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal demands constant adjustments.
"You have to adapt to the teams. One day you might face a number nine like Lewandowski or like Muriqi back in the day, more of a penalty-box striker.
"Then you face these guys who are dynamic and intense. You have to be prepared."
Containing Yamal will be another major challenge for Getafe.
The teenager's movement and ability to combine with teammates can leave defenders with little time to react, making concentration crucial throughout the match.
"With those players, they truly have an extraordinary level, and when they're together, between the lines, with their teammates, with the defenders, you can't afford to lose focus.

"We know the kind of players they are."
Away from the tactical battle, Romero was unequivocal when asked to choose between the leading Ballon d'Or contenders.
His Argentine roots and admiration for Messi left little room for debate.
"I'm Argentine and I'll always favour Messi, because he's the best player in history. There's no other player like him; he's the best in history.
"As for Messi's age and his World Cup performance, I've never seen anyone else of the same age achieve that. My answer will always be Messi.
"What also sets him apart is that, throughout his career, he has never said: 'I am the best player in the world'.
"Throughout his career, he has never said that he should win the Ballon d'Or. It's impressive that, despite being the best, he always remains humble,"he concluded.
