After nearly two decades as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, John Harbaugh is handling a different team, as he is now with the New York Giants.
With the Giants, Harbaugh is managing an interesting quarterback room led by Jaxson Dart and featuring veteran Jameis Winston.

Winston appears to love being coached by Harbaugh, who received high praise from the former Florida State Seminoles star quarterback following New York's 26-3 preseason win over the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., on Saturday.
"I'm just grateful for Coach Harbaugh's leadership. He holds everybody to a standard, just like he holds himself," Winston said after the game ( via SNY Giants ).
"We see him grinding and working and studying hours and hours of tape and communicating with the quarterbacks, communicating with the offensive line, communicating with the defensive line, communicating with the DBs. He has his hand and a relationship with every position group. I think that speaks volumes because he's holding everybody to that standard, coaches included."
Winston Believes in New Giants Head Coach Harbaugh

Winston joined the Giants a year earlier than Harbaugh, who was hired by the NFC East franchise to be its head coach in January.

The former Heisman Trophy winner Winston signed a two-year, $8 million contract with New York in March of 2025. In his first season with the team, the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft appeared in only three games (two starts) and threw for 567 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Winston will simply be providing the Giants with depth security in the team's QB room, while Harbaugh has the bigger task of getting New York back to competitive form after the team failed to post a winning record in each of the last three seasons.
