The New York Giants updated the status of three players on Thursday.
The team officially announced that tight end Thomas Fidone, defensive lineman Sam Roberts and defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris have been placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list prior to veterans reporting for training camp on July 28.
Fidone is currently out after undergoing offseason foot surgery. Selected by the Giants with the No. 219 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, he appeared in seven games as a rookie last season.
Roberts underwent surgery for an undisclosed injury this offseason but is expected to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season. He played in five games for the Atlanta Falcons in 2025 and recorded one sack.
Robertson-Harris was in line to start again at defensive tackle for the Giants in 2026. He tore his Achilles tendon during organized team activities (OTAs) this offseason but was not placed on season-ending injured reserve, as the team remains hopeful he can return at some point during the year.
