The first seven weeks of the 2026 season have brought joy and enthusiasm back to the New York Giants.
There are 10 games ahead, but for now, let's look back at the top five moments from the first half of the Giants season.
5. Isaiah Likely's Big Blue Debut
The Giants were a three-point underdog at home against the Cowboys. But in front of the biggest crowd for an NFL game in the history of MetLife Stadium, Isaiah Likely had the best game of his young career to that point.
Likely had eight catches for 78 yards, and he caught two touchdowns to key the Giants' 28-20 win.
4. Jevón Holland's Ball-Hawking September
Holland won the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September by posting three interceptions in the Giants' first three games.
He flipped the momentum in the Giants' win against Dallas with a second-quarter interception of Dak Prescott, and he sealed their 12-7 win over the Tennessee Titans with an interception in the end zone that was the one of the most magical moment in a season full of them.
3. Malik Nabers' Four-Game Burner
Remember when Nabers was recovering from his 2025 torn ACL and meniscus? It's easy to forget the way the Giants' No. 1 receiver has balled out over the the team's past four games.
Nabers has played like the best receiver in football over a four-game stretch. He has 36 catches on 51 targets for 509 yards, while toggling between quarterbacks Jameis Winston and J.J. McCarthy.
For context, Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has 31 receptions for 462 yards in that span.
2. Devin Singletary's Walk-off Touchdown Run
Singletary hasn't had many noteworthy moments in a Giants uniform, but his scamper that ended the Giants' 27-21 win over the Houston Texans was easily his most important.
After Cam Skattebo's 42-yard run set up the Giants in plus territory, Singletary went 30 yards to the house, proving that every player on the roster is capable of delivering when his number is called.
1. The goal-line stand vs. Arizona
The Giants' win over the Cowboys may be their most impressive, but their victory over the Cardinals is easily their best. They shook off an 11-point first-quarter deficit to take a 30-24 fourth-quarter lead and hung on for dear life.
But the best part was the final four plays, where Dru Phillips and Deonte Banks combined for two passes defended, and Banks sealed the game with an electrifying 98-yard pick-6 on the final play of New York's 36-24 win.
That victory boosted the Giants to 3-1 and first place in the NFC East, a position they have not yet relinquished.
