🤯 Goalless for years, now he's Gladbach's first bright spark
After the thrashing against Freiburg , things really blew up in Gladbach . Polanski was sacked and, accordingly, is no longer on the bench today against Mainz.
For the time being, the still pointless Foals are being coached today by Jan-Moritz Lichte. And he immediately showed a really good touch with his selection for the starting eleven.

He brought Florian Neuhaus back into the starting lineup, left out Robin Hack , and it paid off immediately.
Neuhaus, who had been without a Bundesliga goal since May 2024 (!), put Gladbach ahead after just eleven minutes. He redirected a shot from Ullrich from 17 meters out into the net inside the box.
But the really big turnaround has not been set in motion yet, as the Foals conceded the equalizer just a few minutes later. Tietz made it 1-1 for Mainz (18').
