Georgia's wide receiver room might be one of the biggest wild cards on the entire roster heading into 2026.
The talent is absolutely there. The experience and proven production? That's a different story.

Georgia lost its four leading wide receivers from last season in Zachariah Branch, Colbie Young, Dillon Bell and Noah Thomas. Those four combined for 152 receptions and 1,691 receiving yards in 2025, leaving Gunner Stockton without many of the targets he relied on during his first full season as the starter.
That makes London Humphreysone of the most important players on Georgia's offense.
Humphreys is the most experienced returning receiver after catching 18 passes for 276 yards and three touchdownslast season. He averaged 15.3 yards per reception, so the big-play ability is clearly there. Now Georgia needs him to go from being a rotational weapon to someone Stockton can consistently trust.
Then there's Georgia Tech transfer Isiah Canion, who could have the highest ceiling in the room.

At 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, Canion gives Georgia the big outside target it desperately needs. He caught 33 passes for 480 yards and four touchdownsat Georgia Tech last season and enters camp projected to have a major role at X receiver.
After those two, things get really interesting.
Sacovie White-Heltonis currently positioned to play a major role in the slot after recording only eight catches for 70 yards last season. CJ Wileyand Talyn Taylorare two more young receivers with plenty of upside, while freshmen Kaiden Prothro, who is a hybrid WR/TE at 6'6 adds even more talent to the competition. Georgia is expected to rotate heavily at receiver, giving several of these younger players opportunities to emerge.
That's really the story of this room.

Georgia doesn't have a proven 800 or 1,000-yard receiver entering the season. Instead, it has a bunch of talented players waiting for somebody to become the guy.
Can Canion become Georgia's WR1 immediately? Can Humphreys finally turn his flashes into consistent production? Does White-Helton break out in the slot? Or does one of Georgia's highly talented young receivers explode onto the scene?
There are more questions than answers right now.
But if two or three players from this group take major steps forward, Stockton could suddenly have a much more dangerous receiving corps than people expect.
The talent isn't the concern. Georgia just needs somebody to step up and prove it.
