Inside the 49ers' revamped hydrotherapy room, from cold tubs to an underwater treadmill (paywall) "An in-ground cold tub, which the previous version didn't have. In addition to that tub, the room also has five single-person cold tubs.

A therapy pool with stairs and multiple levels. Because water supports a player's body weight, there's less impact on joints. The new pool includes a deep-water area in which rehabilitating players can do low- and non-impact running.
