Golden State Warriors jersey history - No. 43 - Lindy Waters III (2024-25)

The  Golden State Warriors  have had over 600 players don the more than 60 jersey numbers used by their players over the more than 75 years of existence the team has enjoyed in its rich and storied history.

Founded in 1946 during the Basketball Association of America (BAA – a precursor league of the NBA) era, the team has called home the cities of Philadelphia , San Francisco, Oakland, and even San Diego.

To commemorate the players who wore those numbers,  Warriors  Wire is covering the entire history of jersey numbers and the players who sported them since the founding of the team. For this article, we begin with the ninth of nine players who wore the No. 43 jersey for the  Warriors .

That player would be Golden State guard alum Lindy Waters III . After ending his college career at Oklahoma State, Waters went unselected in the 2020 NBA Draft, playing in other leagues until he signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2021.

The Boulder, Colorado native played the first three seasons of his pro career with OKC, coming to an end when he was dealt to the Dubs in 2024. His stay with the team lasted until he was dealt to the Detroit Pistons in 2025.

During his time suiting up for the Warriors, Waters wore only jersey No. 43 and put up 5.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.
