Aston Villa will face off against Barcelona at the Nou Camp this Wednesday as they look to secure all three points on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Villans were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham recently, so they will be eager to put in a much-improved showing in midweek.
Unai Emery will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this game. Joao Gomes and Emiliano Buendia could both play from the start of this contest.
Zion Suzuki will feature in between the sticks for the Villans after he conceded one goal in his last outing. Victor Lindelof will function alongside Pau Torres at the heart of Aston Villa 's backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Matty Cash will be a nailed-on starter as the right-back, while Ian Maatsen hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well before offering some support to their teammates up top.
Tyrone Mings will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Boubacar Kamara and Joao Gomes will anchor the midfield for the Villans as they look to make life tough for the home team in the middle of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.
The talented trio of John McGinn, Johan Manzambi and Emiliano Buendia will play just ahead of them as part of the Aston Villa attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Villans are to cause some headaches for the Barcelona defenders this Tuesday night.
Alysson, Ross Barkley and Ibrahim Mbaye will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Nicolas Jackson will spearhead Aston Villa's attack up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real threat in front of the Barca goal this Tuesday night.
Tammy Abraham will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
