With so many players sent to the NFL in recent years, it should come as no surprise to see former Oregon Ducks lining the Pro Bowl rosters. That was the case this season, as three former Duck standouts were named to the 2026 NFL Pro Bowl, taking place in San Francisco.
Quarterback Justin Herbert , thanks to a season in which he's carrying an injury-riddled Los Angeles Chargers team to the playoffs, was selected as one of three quarterbacks in the AFC. The Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen and the New England Patriots' Drake Maye were alongside Herbert.

Through 16 weeks, Herbert's totaled 3,491 yards, 25 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, with the Chargers holding an 11-4 record and having a chance to win the AFC West with wins in their final two games.
Cornerback for the Ducks , a major position of strength for the program for awhile, was represented on the Pro Bowl roster as Patriots cover man Christian Gonzalez earned the starting nod along with three other reserves. Since returning from injury, Gonzalez has been lockdown in 12 games of action in 2025.
Though he hasn't intercepted a pass, he's a sure tackler with 47 solo tackles and has ten passes defensed while completely discouraging any quarterback to throw a pass his way.

Tackle Penei Sewell was named to the Pro Bowl roster on the NFC side, as the former No. 7 pick in 2021 has had yet another dominant campaign for the Detroit Lions despite their low chances of making the playoffs. Sewell is as reliable as it gets, anchoring well in the pass game and proving to be one of the top road-graders at tackle in the NFL, opening up holes and blocking in the open field for the seventh-leading rusher in the league in running back Jahmyr Gibbs.
While the Pro Bowl honor is the first of Gonzalez's career, it will be Herbert's second and Sewell's fourth, proving the sustained excellence of some of the best former Ducks dominating the NFL.
