It's been almost 11 months since Parsons has been on the field. He tore his ACL and meniscus on Dec. 14 during thePackers' Week 15 game at Denver. He had surgery to repair the injuries Dec. 29, forcing him to miss the entire offseason and open the regular season on the physically-unable-to-perform list.
Parsons' return to practice opens his 21-day practice window. Parsons can return anytime within those 21 days, but no later.
LaFleur, who previously said he expects Parsons will need most of the practice time before he's ready to play, called Parsons a "generational talent" and his presence on the field will be a morale boost to the team.

"I think it's been a long time coming," LaFleur said. "He's put in a lot of work and effort into this. To get him back out there will be a big boost for our team."
