The Guardiansannounced on Saturday, Aug. 1 that it was trading catcher Bo Naylor and relief pitcher Codi Heuer to theMilwaukee Brewers. In return, the Guardians will receive relief pitcher Craig Yoho and outfielder Blake Perkins.

Naylor, 26, became expendable whenthe Guardians traded for Patrick Baileyearlier in May. After that move was made, Naylor was sent back to the minors after struggling in his first 28 games for Cleveland, batting .143.
