England fans in the United States have found one World Cup problem they clearly did not prepare for: the tea.
The complaint is funny, but it says plenty about traveling support, tournament routines and British habits meeting Texas reality.
England supporters came for soccer, heat, noise and group-stage pressure. They also wanted a proper cup of tea, and that part appears to have gone badly.

In a DAZN BET UK clip, England fans in America joked about the tea situation during their World Cup stay.
The most direct response came from one supporter who summed up the local mood with a Texas twist: "We don't drink tea in Texas, we drink beer."
Another fan blamed the basics rather than the brewing method, saying: "The milk is terrible, so you're not going to get one."
Others had already moved on to survival drinks. One supporter said: "No tea. No tea. I had a dodgy coffee for breakfast, but no tea."
When asked where to find a decent cup, another answer was beautifully blunt: "I haven't got a clue."
Nobody was pretending this was a major tournament crisis. It was a familiar fan complaint sharpened by distance, heat and the discovery that tea is not treated like a public service in America.
The tea complaints came as England fans followed their team through the 2026 World Cup in the United States.
England opened their Group L campaign against Croatia at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, a setting that naturally pushed supporters toward beer, bars and air-conditioned spaces.
That is why the coffee mentions matter. Fans were not just mocking bad tea; they were adapting to American routines while still measuring everything against home comforts.
This version fits the social media age better. A small cultural irritation becomes a viral fan moment because it is specific, harmless and instantly understandable.
England have bigger problems to solve on the pitch, but their supporters have already found one off it. In Texas, a proper cup of tea might be harder to find than a cold beer.
