The Vancouver Canucks are turning to their past in an effort to turn the franchise around. After finishing with the worst record in the NHL last season, the Canucks have brought in a new management team to help the team recover. Henrik and Daniel Sedin , two of the best players in Canucks history, have been brought in to serve as the co-presidents of the team.
The Canucks have also hired Ryan Johnson as the team's general manager. Team owner Francesco Aquilini welcomed the Sedin twins back to the team they played for from 2001 through 2018. "For the past 26 years, Daniel and Henrik have dedicated their entire professional hockey careers to Vancouver," Aquilini said , per NHL.com. "Whether it's as players or in various management positions, they've always committed themselves to excellence."
