Everton ace Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will be keeping a close eye on the England squad announcement on Friday.
Thomas Tuchel will confirm the players that will take on Spain and Croatia in the UEFA Nations League on 6 November.
Dewsbury-Hall has been in great form for the Toffees, recently, and has surely put himself on the Three Lions boss' radar.
He will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of teammate James Garner, who was a late call-up for the international break at the end of October and start of November.
He will find out his fate shortly, with a nervous wait on the cards to see if he has done enough to impress Tuchel.
The probability of the Hill Dickinson Stadium star making the squad has now emerged.
What does Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's England call-up depend on?
Dewsbury-Hall has never been capped by his country, despite showing stellar form throughout his career.
The Blues ace merits a place in the squad that is announced on Friday, according to respected journalist Henry Winter.
However, whether he makes it may depend on Tuchel, and how he feels ahead of the next break.
Winter took to X on Tuesday to reveal what the 28-year-old's chances depend on, saying: "If Thomas Tuchel picks on form, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall deserves to be in the England squad announced on Friday morning, Everton midfielder bossed Newcastle United last night...
"Arguably, KDH is competing with his club-mate James Garner (played vs Czechs in October).
"It may depend on how Tuchel views these two final Nations League group games: Croatia at Wembley, Spain in Madrid (Metropolitano), opportunity to reel in Spain (three points clear) and finish top, so play runner-up in March quarters, or experiment.
"Tuchel has few chances to try out new players like KDH."
Tuchel has proven that he is willing to hand out opportunities in the previous Nations League fixtures, so hopefully this same applies this time.
Everton player ratings vs Newcastle: 9/10 Dewsbury-Hall on his own level, teammate has work to do Why Tuchel can't not pick in-form Everton man
Dewsbury-Hall was brilliant in the 1-0 win against Newcastle on Monday evening, arguably, the visitors best player.
He completed 84 per cent of his passes and created the most chances in the game with three, per FotMob data.
The former Chelsea man made nine passes into the final third and nine line-breaking passes, and was successful with both of his dribble attempts at St James' Park.
The attacking midfielder also managed seven defensive contributions, with three tackles and four recoveries, showing his willingness to help out when his team did not have the ball.
He also won six of nine ground duels, for a success rate of 67 per cent against the Magpies.
If Tuchel saw that performance and still does not select him, then he may never get a chance to represent his country.
