Devenski was picked in the 25th round of the 2011 MLB Draft.
He spent the first five years of his career with the Houston Astros.
In that span, Devenski made the 2017 MLB All-Star Game (and helped the franchise win the 2017 World Series).
The 35-year-old went 8-5 with a 2.68 ERA in 62 games during the 2017 season.

Following Houston, Devenski had stops with the Arizona Diamondbacks , Philadelphia Phillies , Los Angeles Angels , Tampa Bay Rays , New York Mets (and Pirates).
It will be interesting to see if he gets picked up before the end of the 2026 season.
Despite his age, Devenski could provide pitching depth to another team on a Minor League contract.
