The Boston Bruins exceeded expectations this season by reaching the playoffs and a key reason why was the team's fourth line.

Bruins general manager Don Sweeney signed Tanner Jeannot this offseason to bolster their bottom-six and entering the offseason, Boston's fourth line projects to be Jeannot, Sean Kuraly, and Mark Kastelic.
Ahead of the offseason and potential moves, Bruins insider Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic claimed Boston's fourth line is 'frightening to play against' and is something the team will keep intact next season.
"No issues here. Sturm can roll Tanner Jeannot, Sean Kuraly, and Mark Kastelic against anybody. In fact, with his speed and shot, Kastelic could move up at least one line," Shinzawa wrote in an article published on Wednesday.
Boston's fourth line appears set and will be one of the league's best fourth lines in the NHL, and something Sturm can play with plenty of confidence.

Not only does Boston's fourth-line play with some grit and physicality, but the three of them can also chip in offensively, which makes them so good.
Jeannot recorded six goals and 16 assists for 22 points, while Kastelic had 12 goals and 10 assists for 22 points, and Kuraly had six goals and 16 assists for 22 points, showing the fourth line can add some secondary scoring.
