Inter Keep Tabs on Multiple Cagliari and Monza Talents
Inter continue to monitor a pair of Cagliari gems and also took a look at a couple of Monza talents. Their recently promoted director Dario Baccin was spotted in the stands at the clash between the teams, Calciomercato reports.
The Nerazzurri are very keen especially on Alessandro Romano and are positioning themselves to compete with Juventus at the end of the season. The Sardinians have shut the door for January. It remains to be determined how rich the offers will be. Instead, the 19-year-old striker continues to make strides and has scored and assisted once so far.

Alongside Romano and Mendy, the Inter official scouted Jay Robinson and Gustavo Varela. They have been observing the former routinely in recent matches. They have been looking for a slippery and creative attacker for a few windows. He joined the Brianzoli on a simple loan from Southampton thanks to his connection with coach Ivan Juric. He had one of his best performances yet on Sunday, netting his second goal so far.
Instead, the Portuguese striker has found the target as often as Donyell Malen early, thanks to his recent brace. The Biancorossi acquired him for just €2M from Benfica last summer.
Our Take on Inter
Their constant reloading, bringing in one or two youngsters each summer without a proper hurtful overhaul, is impressive, and it'll surely continue. Romano is a safe prospect already, and Mendy is improving leaps and bounds in every tilt and has superb physical skills. He could be a true diamond in the rough. It'd be nice if the top Serie A clubs managed to keep all four in the league rather than losing them to foreign powerhouses.
