Inter Milan will host Shakhtar Donetsk at San Siro on Wednesday, October 21, in a bid to bounce back from their two defeats in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
Last time out in Europe, Cristian Chivu's side was blown out of the water by Club Brugge, though Inter managed to score twice through Lautaro Martínez. The Nerazzurri then rallied to a 3-1 Serie A win over Bologna, but another European defeat would put the pressure on the Italian side.
Shakhtar come to Milan in a stronger mood, having drawn with PSV Eindhoven and beaten AEK Athens 3-1. Arda Turan's side have also won their last home game, which makes it a tough one for Inter.

Inter will be without captain Lautaro Martínez, who is recovering from a thigh injury. Other reported absentees include John Stones, Benjamin Pavard and Curtis Jones. Shakhtar will be without Eguinaldo and Alaa Ghram, with Marlon Santos and Diego Arroyo both in doubt.
