A special night and a return to the scoresheet for Teun Koopmeinersin a Netherlands shirt, almost two years after he last found the net for the Oranje. Starting the Nations League match against Serbia, the Bianconeri midfielder broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark with a free-kick. His left-footed effort from the side of the penalty area evaded everyone and found its way into the back of the net.
It was Koopmeiners' fourth goal for the Netherlands – his previous one having come against Hungary in November 2024 – and he produced an excellent performance as the Dutch claimed a 2-1 victory.
Edon Zhegrovaalso impressed for Kosovo against Austria. The Balkan side drew 1-1, with the Bianconeri winger playing a key role in Kosovo's goal, providing a superb assist for Asllani after an excellent move down the right flank that caused problems for the Austrian defence.
The result takes Kosovo to five points after four matches in Nations League Group G.
