"He will remain an active member of our team and we're wishing him a speedy recovery," the team said in a text to the Tribune-Star.
ISU filled his spot with freshman guard DeShawn Denson who announced his commitment for this season after a roster spot opened up.
Denson is an 18-year-old, 6-foot-3, 160 pound freshman who hails from Oklahoma City where he attended Midwest City High School. In his high school career, Denson averaged 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals a game.
