Young and the reigning WNBA champions have reportedly agreed to a max one-year deal.

“Breaking: The Las Vegas Aces are finalizing an agreement for Jackie Young to return to Vegas, sources told ESPN. Expected to be a one-year deal at the regular max ($1.19 million). One step closer toward the Aces retaining their Big Three, reported Alexa Philippou of ESPN on Thursday via a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.

The 28-year-old former Notre Dame Fighting Irish star has been with the Aces since she turned pro in 2019, when the Aces made her the top-overall pick in that year’s WNBA Draft.

Young and the Aces have enjoyed tremendous success throughout their partnership. Las Vegas has won three WNBA titles with Young, who has played a major role in those championship teams alongside A’ja Wilson and Chelsea Gray .

The Aces are likely not done yet in dishing out big contracts, as Wilson and Gray are still free agents. Las Vegas would love to have its triumvirate of Young, Wilson, and Gray together again, considering the success the team has relished with those three in the fold.

In the 2025 WNBA season, Young, who is also a four-time WNBA All-Star and a former Most Improved Player of the Year Award winner, averaged 16.5 points on a 54.8 effective field goal percentage, 5.1 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 30.4 minutes per game through 44 outings (all starts). She also shot 35.9 percent from behind the arc.
