The Jacksonville Jaguars have more clarity on one of their coordinators for at least the 2026 season.
Barring anything unforeseen, the team is expected to retain offensive coordinator Grant Udinski after the Buffalo Bills moved to promote offensive coordinator Joe Brady to replace Sean McDermott as the AFC East team's head coach.
Udinski was in the running for both the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Browns . Udinski did interviews with both clubs, including an initial interview with Buffalo and two interviews with the Browns. Udinski recently pulled his name from the running in Cleveland.
Jacksonville quickly began contract re-negotiations with Udinski after the Browns requested permission to interview him, according to the T-U's Ryan O'Halloran , and picked up after the team requested a second interview. His pay raise was completed on Monday morning.

Still, Buffalo was squarely in the mix before hiring Brady, who has been with the club since 2022 and became the full-time offensive coordinator in 2024.
With Udinski back in Jacksonville, the team can return to the gridiron with continuity on offense. Udinski took a lot off Coen's plate in 2025, allowing the head coach to work more closely with all aspects of the football team rather than just offense.
By the end of last season, the Jaguars were one of the best offenses in the league, finishing the year averaging 27.7 points per game (sixth-best), 338.6 yards per game (10th) and convertaing 62.50% of the team's red zone attempts into scores (eighth).
The team finished 18th in rushing yards per game with 117.2, but 12th in passing yards per game with 221.3.
The Jaguars recently added to their coaching staff, hiring defensive backs coach/passing game coordinator Mathieu Araujo and run game coordinator Brian Picucci after parting ways with secondary coach Ron Milus. Assistant offensive line coach Keli'i Kekuewa was hired by Stanford.
The Jaguars are still waiting to see what happens with defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile, who has interviewed twice with the Arizona Cardinals .
