The team announced on Wednesday that it's signed free agent center Sam Mustipher .
The addition of Mustipher bolsters the Jaguars ' center depth after Trystan Colon was placed on the reserve/retired list recently.
What to know about Sam Mustipher
Mustipher, 29, is an experienced player. After going undrafted in 2019 out of Notre Dame, he's carved out a seven-year NFL career, playing over 3,000 snaps on offense, most of which came between 2020 and 2022, when he started 40 games .
He has spent the last three seasons with Baltimore , the LA Chargers , and Denver , playing 329 snaps on offense, while contributing on special teams. Mustipher does have some brief guard experience.
Can Sam Mustipher make a roster push?
Mustipher could be a candidate for the practice squad, but he'll have a tough time making the 53-man roster. Leading the way is Robert Hainsey , with Jonah Monheim the backup.
