Matiscik, Jacksonville's regular long snapper and an All-Pro, left Sunday's game early after sustaining the injury. Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton stepped into the role for the remainder of the contest and successfully executed the snap on the game-winning field goal .
Despite the injury, Matiscik will not be placed on injured reserve, per Rapoport. However, the Jaguars have moved to bring in an experienced replacement as they prepare for their upcoming Week 6 matchup.
