- Jalen Brunson Talks About Knicks' Hot Start in Blowout Win vs. Bulls
The New York Knicks defeated the Chicago Bulls 135-105 Wednesday night, making it their biggest win of the season so far. New York held the lead through much of the game, and their hot shooting propelled them to the big margin of victory.
The Knicks shot 51 percent from the field as a team in this game, and they dominated the rebounding game, out-rebounding the Bulls 57-34. They looked more like the 2026 postseason Knicks, and they could be starting to find their rhythm now.

After the game, he talked about how he was able to find his groove in the first quarter, and he credited the team's defense with creating easier chances to score.
"When you have it going, it feels good. Just trying to play off that and use your gravity to make plays," Brunson said .
"I feel like it started on the defensive side of the ball. We were able to get stops and get in transition to create a comfortable lead and I think we played well with the lead for the most part."

The Knicks also dominated the fast-break points total in this one, outscoring the Bulls 19-6. Playing at a fast pace was something the Knicks made part of their identity last season, and if they can get back to playing like that again this season, it makes them a much more dangerous team.

New York has now had back-to-back blowout wins at home against the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls, and maybe this two-game stretch is what the Knicks needed to find their footing after a slow start to the season.
This is a team that started off 2-4, with half of their losses coming to the Philadelphia 76ers. With two losses coming against a Philadelphia team looking to compete for an Eastern Conference championship, there was doubt starting to creep in about whether or not the Knicks could get back to where they were last season.

The Knicks' next game will be against the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road Saturday night, in what should be a tougher game for them. It will be interesting to see how they'll look against a Cavaliers team that also has a chip on its shoulder to be one of the top teams in the East.
