Jaromir Jagr played just 22 games for the Calgary Flames .
It's that short stint that has ensured this season that one of the most incredible streaks in the NHL continues for at least another year.
This will be the 46th consecutive season that the Stanley Cup Final will feature someone who at some point was a teammate of Jagr, according to C of Red Media .
That's because both teams in the Western Conference Final include a former Jagr teammate.
The Coloardo Avalanche feature Brett Kulak .
The Vegas Golden Knights have Rasmus Andersson .
Both were on that Flames team that Jagr suited up for during the 2017-18 season when he was 45 years old.
Jagr himself played 24 seasons in the NHL, but when you bridge out his teammates from start to finish, they cover more than four decades of the Stanley Cup Final.
That's remarkable any way you look at it.

Jagr played for the Penguins, Rangers, Capitals , Panthers, Devils, Flyers, Stars, Flames and Bruins . The fact that he moved around so much only diversifies his list of teammates more, which helps this stat be possible, too.
Of course, Jagr is also one of the best players ever. He scored 766 goals and had 1,155 assists (1,921 points). He won the Stanley Cup himself twice, too.
And his legacy has surfaced for yet another year as guys who once shared the ice with Jagr now have a chance to win the Stanley Cup again.
