- Jaylen Wright nursing quadriceps injury after Week 7 game
Miami Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright (quadriceps) left the Week 7 game against the New York Jets due to a quadriceps injury. He had eight rushing yards on just six carries, and he did not have any receptions on one target before leaving.
Why it Matters:It's uncertain if the injury is serious or not. Ollie Gordon II has taken over as the starting tailback for the Dolphins, but Wright has a chance at meaningful carries as the primary backup. If he cannot play newcomer Kaytron Allen could potentially ascend to the No. 2 role if he gets comfortable with the playbook.
