- What Jean-Clair Todibo is willing to sacrifice to seal West Ham exit
Jean-Clair Todibo is willing to do his utmost to seal a departure from West Ham United.
The Frenchman is a far cry from the centre-back that the Hammers thought they were getting in 2024.
He was linked with big moves to the likes of Manchester United after starring for Nice in Ligue 1.

The London Stadium club won the race and looked to have got hold of one of the better defenders in Europe at the time.
Things haven't worked out that way and he has ultimately become an outcast under Nuno Espirito Santo.
West Ham have had enough and it looks as if Todibo feels the same as an exit continues to loom.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a departure throughout the summer window.
That hasn't resulted in a move at this stage as he remains at Rush Green, even though the new season is underway.
He hasn't featured in either matchday squad and it looks highly unlikely that he will.

That is due to strong interest from Marseille right now.
Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna reported via X on Monday that the Ligue 1 giants want the defender on loan.
There is a discussion ongoing between the two sides over the split of his wages.
Todibo is now willing to make a sacrifice and lower his salary to facilitate a transfer this summer.

Things just haven't worked for the Frenchman since his East London switch.
His form just hasn't been good enough as he has failed to adapt to the Premier League.

That isn't the main issue he's encountered in E20 recently as he refused to play for Nuno last season.
Todibo opted against playing against Leeds United on the final day after an argument with the head coach.
Internal discussions got underway from there and with the Portuguese boss sticking around, it was always going to end badly for the defender.
He is now edging closer towards a departure and is clearly willing to do anything he can to make a deal happen.
