The Munich native was selected by the Buffalo Sabres with the 34th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. He spent the first part of his NHL career in Buffalo before joining the Bruins.
Saturday's game also marked Peterka's first multi-point performance with Boston, snapping a three-game pointless streak. Through six games this season, he has two goals and four points.
