One of the biggest names behind the UFC broadcast has been keeping an eye on wrestling’s newest promotion.
Real American Freestyle made its debut last year and hasn’t looked back. Their eighth event is set for Saturday night in Philadelphia.

The card, like others this year, features a number of big names from the MMA world. And one of them has caught Joe Rogan’s attention with his undefeated start to the season.
Teddy Ash, who holds a 16-8 record in MMA, also competes under Unified MMA and holds a grappling win over Michael Bisping at a recent Karate Combat event. In RAF, he is undefeated through three matches this year, all ending with stoppages. He continues that run despite suffering losses in LFA and PFL last year.
Ash also challenged Josh Neer at Ares FC 18 in February but lost by submission (kimura). Speaking about Ash on his podcast, Rogan noted.

Joe Rogan Impressed By Arman Tsarukyan’s RAF Performances
Before Merab Dvalishvili steps into the cage for a rematch against Henry Cejudo, who he fought at UFC 298, the co-main event will see Arman Tsarukyan making his fourth appearance with the promotion.

The lightweight has kept busy on the wrestling and grappling circuits while waiting to find out when he’ll be back in action for the UFC.
Tsarukyan recently picked up his third straight win in RAF with another victory over Georgio Poullas and will look to keep that streak alive against Urijah Faber on April 18.
And one person who’s already taken notice is Rogan, who singled out Tsarukyan as the standout performer under the Real American Freestyle banner so far.
“Dude, the guy that I’m most impressed with in that (RAF) is Arman,” Rogan said on his JRE MMA Show.
“I can’t believe how good he is as a wrestler. Who’s the guy he tech fall’d? Lance. Bro, Lance Palmer is a legit wrestler. Bro, Arman is legit.”

“Even Georgio, you watch those videos he does… Arman is a f—ing bad man, dude. He is a bad man,” Rogan added. “If you want a fight for Ilia (Topuria) at 155 (pounds), that’s a very interesting fight.”
Tsarukyan has stayed active since missing out on an immediate title shot following his win over Dan Hooker last November.
